Osteopathy is a form of non-invasive, gentle, manual manipulation. This involves a classical-principle based approach towards treatment that focuses on total body health. This occurs by assessing and treating the body holistically. Treatments will involve manipulation of the musculoskeletal framework, this includes the muscles, joints, and spine. This unique approach to treatment will address the circulatory, nervous, and lymphatic systems.

Osteopathic Manual Practitioners do not solely focus on the problem areas of the body, but use their knowledge to understand how other regions of the body could be influencing the current symptoms a patient is experiencing. By taking this principle based and holistic approach OMP's are able to provide collective care to your body to improve your vitality, health, and overall wellbeing.

Thank you for taking the time to look into Vitality Village Osteopathy and Wellness. I am the Director and currently the only Osteopathic Manual Practitioner with VV. I completed my Masters in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences in 2021. I completed my undergraduate degree in Honors Human Kinetics: Movement Science back in 2016.

I am still a personal trainer with F45 Guelph, I am an active soccer player and enjoy long distance running and training. I played varsity soccer for the University of Windsor for a short period of time. Before owning my own clinic I worked for Wellness team on Queen and Tonic Physiotherapy in Milton.

Hello my name is Marija, and I’ve been a PTA for over 4 years and an RMT for nearly 3 in both clinical and spa settings. During this time I’ve mainly spent my time working with a small team of highly experienced physiotherapists, TCM acupuncturists, and surgeons specifically interested in spinal conditions. I’ve always carried a huge interest in anatomy, neurology and spinal related treatments. My experience also includes working with a small group of dementia patients, and clients with a health history of: pain injections, automobile accidents, neck fractures, and shoulder/hip/ankle replacement surgery. As I continue to expand my passion and education in wellness, it’s clear to see the benefits of a multidisciplinary approach for the most desirable outcome. In my approach I always push for blood work and medical imaging when appropriate. I appreciate it when clients show up to treatment with their medical reports in hand to avoid any guesswork during assessment. During treatment I offer a combination of therapeutic and relaxation techniques, as well as homecare. During my time off, I spend most of it outdoors - I’ve always enjoyed swimming year round, biking, visiting friends/family, and traveling the world! I look forward to meeting you and I’m very excited to start my journey at Vitality Village!
